Gorgeous! The prose and the imaginative, tragic tale itself. Really enjoyed this.

This was incredible! That ending hurt my heart in such a wonderful way. This was such a twisting, turning, arresting take on a story I thought I knew so well. I love this!

I’m so glad you enjoyed it, Bridget! It is a bit painful, isn’t it? My partner, who rarely reads fiction and fancies himself unsentimental finds it very sad. Such, at times, is love.

It is sad, but in a way that makes the story richer. I would take that over a saccharine happy ending any day!

Jesus, Liz! And you’re complimenting *me*? This was a phenomenal story, told to perfection. Emotional, visceral, and tragic. My recipe, but done right! Some echoes of Angela Carter/Del Toro, which is a blissful landscape to wander in. Clearly, I should have come by much, much sooner!

Haha! Thanks so much, Ken, for the wonderful compliments. I really value your opinion. I love your stories so much. I think we may be grooving along the same dark wavelength.

I think so. There’s so much painful, beautiful heart and soul to this story, and the themes you’re playing with— yes, this absolutely the wavelength. I should’ve known. What I wasn’t prepared for, was the gorgeous language of it all. You’re a fantastic writer, Liz. Better than me. So write!
