Thank you, Nick! I’ve had these characters in my head for a long time, and I think the story grew subconsciously (is that even possible) because I am discovering it as I write it. I have plot points set, but as I arrive at each one, I unearth more depth. It is like an archaeological dig!

Wow, just...wow. I read this with bated breath, truly. It just drips with atmosphere and sex and danger.

Thank you! There is so much more, and it unveils itself to me as I write it and read over what I’ve written like a history.

This is the work of a writer possessed. Phenomenal writing that feels dark, dangerous, and forbidden. Fantastic, Liz, in every way.

Thank you so much, Lyndsey! It’s going to be a long one, and I’m sort of terrified at the length of the rope I’ve given myself. Hoping I can walk it and not hang from it!

Holy shit. This is horror gold, Liz! Failing to find the words to tell you how fantastic this is, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this will break novella length. Everything about this works. Can't wait to see how you bring Jack into this.

Thanks, Ken! The more I work on this, the longer it gets, like melted mozzarella! There are a lot of moving parts (characters and their individual arcs), but Will is the core and everything must circle back to his journey. I know that much, and not much more! There will be surprises in store, for me, too!

Bring it on. Also: please don't ever quit vampire country. That's my horror number one and you are nailing their evil in spectacular fashion.

Very clever catch, Jennifer!. It was indeed the scene of the Ripper murders. It will resurface later. So glad you are enjoying the story!

This is masterful Liz. The images are beautiful and terrible.

Is it a coincidence that you mentioned Whitechapel Road, or will it come into play later? I believe that's the area where Jack the Ripper's crimes were committed.

It seems the shoe is on the other foot or is it really. Beautifully done, a hint of Poe? I know how we love Poe. Waiting for the next installment . Love it❤️
